RECONNECT WITH CLOTH

Design of a family of six assortments using various morphic surfaces generating additional haptic-tactical sensory experiences, thus expanding the functions of clothing with relaxation and soothing possibilities. All facilities have the potential for self-massage.

Clothing as a sensory space constantly stimulates our body, has a significant impact on our body and serves as a personal space stimulating our senses. It constantly influences our perception, which we often underestimate or simply do not notice. It is an integral part of our lives. This is the "micro-house" in which we live. We experience it as a form of multi-sensory space - not only generating multi-sensory stimuli, but also allowing us to experience multi-layered interactions due to its structure. We feel the surface of the material the clothing is made of, its temperature, whether it seems comfortable to use or not in the event of an inappropriate construction. Our receptors respond to every, even the smallest, surface change.

By adapting morphic surfaces to clothing forms, the design has the potential to be used to improve the well-being of the wearer as well as help in tactile stimulation of the body as an extension of tactile therapies.
